For Recurve Bow

Enter the distance a from your eye to the sight pin when aiming  = mm 

Enter the distance d from 20m to 60m mark on your sight scale = mm
                              

The accuracy depends on your values and normally better than 1%

Average arrow speed when shooting  is =m/s orfoot/s

Elevation angle for shooting 20m  =degrees

Elevation angle for shooting 60m= degrees

Angle ϕ= degrees

 

 

For Compund Bow we must compensate for parallax fault

Enter the distance a1 from your peep to the sight point when aiming  = mm

 Enter the distance a2 from your peep down to the arrow when aiming  = mm

 Enter the distance d from 20m to 60m mark on your sight scale = mm
